Two women, Galia and Eleanor live next door to each other in an old apartment building. They are not familiar, know nothing about each other and seem to have nothing in common. But there are two things, which unite these women. The first one is an adjoining wall. The second one – is a strong desire of both of them to run away from the place and the life in this place.
Galia is a murderer, involved in a mafia sex-traffic business against her will. She longs badly for her little daughter, left in Russia without her mum. And everything Galia dreams about is to come back to her child.
Eleanor is a cashier, working at a local grocery store, who hopes to win the lottery one day. She is a wife of an abusive husband, whom she dreams to get rid of. When she knows, that she is pregnant, Eleanor’s will to run away from him becomes the only way to survive.
Galia and Eleanor, united by the common need to escape, decide to join forces and fight against their oppressors for freedom and hope for a better life in future.
